I'm a new writer attempting my first fantasy novel. I'm very interested by other fantasy-fiction writings I find, mostly in the young adult genre. I love debate and debating. The more controvercial the better. I am also facinated by ideas concidered "out there".

As far as judging people or works, I ask, "why?" People are what they are and it's a disrespect to evaluate them, especially before you actually investigate.

Helpful suggestions on my works and interesting ideas and comments from other people. My writing style is very easy reading with interesting subjects thrown in every once in a while.

Upbeat "dance-able" music., Techno and digital music is great too!, I also love any music that is different. (ex. Flogging Molly, remixes, etc.)

Favorite Books: , 1st- His Dark Materials Trilogy (Yes it's controvercial, but that's why it's awesome!), 2nd- Inheritance Trilogy (Facinating ideas are finally being brought to light.), 3rd- Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Do you see a little something about trilogies happening here?), 4th- Harry Potter, 5th- Allana Stories by Tamora Pierce

Movies, Monty Python and the Holly Grail (freaking helarious), The Golden Compass, Lord of the Rings (All three), Farewell to the King (Watch it!)

I'm considering starting a group and was thumbing through members' profiles for people that might want to join. Your love of Fantasy caught my eye.

I have just published an epic fantasy novel called The Occuscript--Wizards, Mystics, Mages, Sorcerers, Dragons, Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Griffins, Pixies, Fairies, Harpies, Trolls, Ogres, Minotaurs, Goblins, Gargoyles--they're all there. The Occuscript
An Epic Fantasy
by Kerry B. Rogers

Deep in a cavern within the mysterious forests of The Wilds, a magical book is found. Some will skim its blank chapters and find a single page completely visible to them. Its runes and symbols will magically endow them with all knowledge of a particular subject. Physicians will magically cure the infirm, warriors will become individual forces of destruction, and dragons will once again have their riders.

But the knowledge revealed by the last three visible chapters will attract the attention of powerfully evil forces. Coveted by all and revealed to a select few, these pages will fuel intrigues, battles and a Prophecy-driven quest.

Ominously, the last page of The Occuscript is blank. Forces of The Onyx plot to seize the magical book for their own dark purposes. With opposition mounting, forces of The Pearl struggle to deliver the sacred book to Castle Ironhinge, so the one who must pen The Last Chapter can rescue their world from certain annihilation.
